Gaudi's majestic, still unfinished gem in the L'Eixample neighborhood looks stunning both day and night, especially when it's lit. No need to waste any money to go inside, simply marvel at it's beauty from the outside. Avoid coming on the weekends when tourist busses arrive and torrents of camera and fanny pack doning tourists pack the sidewalks making viewing impossible. more

Euros 11 to get in, euros 4 for an audio-guide and another euros 2.50 to go up in the lift inside one of the towers and you might think twice about going inside this spectacular architectural master piece of Gaudi. But do go in! It's something not to be missed with engineering feats I've never seen before. The audio guide... more

I have read so much about this church, and seeing it in person is a totally different experience altogether. I agree the interior of the hall is too much of a work in progress to see much. But if you pay the 2.50 euros to take the lift up to the top, you find another amazing world up there. You... more

Gaudi was one of the artist that I studied at the university and was just an incredible experience to actually stand in front of this cathedral. The work done on it is just "mind-boggling" and a "must see" site in Barcelona. If you take a "city tour" you will have the opportunity to see many of his other works that... more

We spent about 3 hours touring the Sagrada Familia, and were very impressed. Spend the time to examine the facades closely - the faces of the statues are so expressive. Inside, the stained glass windows are beautiful, as are the columns that make you feel as if you are standing within an indoor forest. more

i've been to Barca twice and made a point to visit this place again on my second visit. the queue isnt that long but what you see is worth the money. Gaudi is one strange dude. if it is open i would recommend climbing one of the spires. obviously make sure you are not afraid of heights as you do... more

The three rating is a combination of a five for how stunning Sagrada Familia looks and a one for paying a hefty €11 to get in and see not much more. For your money you get to see inside, which mainly looks akin to a DIY depot, and a museum. You would be far better not paying and looking from... more

I really didn't know what to make of this huge temple thing in Barcelona. I took pictures and posted them http://barcelonafunguide.com/familia.html I want to learn more about this Catholic temple by Gaudi and about Gaudi himself. more
