I'm a huge fan of Gaudi's work and this park is one of the best things to see in Barcelona. There's no entrance fee and the best way to get there is by bus. We went on bus 24 and it drops you off right at the top of the hill, then it's a nice leisurely stroll through the park... more

This magical park is another inspiring and playful Gaudi creation. It's a bit of a walk up the hill to the park, but completely worth it! I rode the bus turistic red route to the bottom of the hill and walked up. Grab a take-away sandwich and soda on your way up and enjoy a picnic once you get to... more

Its quite a steep walk up to Parc Guell, but it is definitely worth it! It is such a unique park like no other! All over the park you'll find works of art by Antonio Gaudi (a very famous architect who belonged to the Modernist style movement) For example, the popular mosaic lizard at the main entrance of the park.... more

Once you get past the circus of the mosaic entry, this sweet, surreal park offers some healthy walking trails, visual treats and unique perspectives on the Barcelona skyline. A definite must for visitors who like Gaudi, for those who enjoy hiking, or for those looking to take a nice picnic in the city. more

We took the metro to Lesseps stop. From the metro, it was a walk of a bit less than a mile (some of it steeply uphill) to Gaudì’s Parc Güell. There are direction and distance signs to follow once you get a block or so from the metro. The walk was an interesting one, past the city’s shops. We saw... more

We stopped here during our European cruise. I'd say spend about an hour here at most roaming the scenery and the decor. There is a nice view of Barcelona from a top, but other than that I wouldn't spend more than an hour here, taking pics, and taking a sneak peek at the amazing view of Barcelona. I didn't really... more

Parc Guell was everything we had hoped for. We visited on a Sunday mid-afternoon. It's a lot of fun to see the benches, gate houses, fountains, hall of columns, and other playful pathways. The areas with Gaudi's decorations (such as listed above) are VERY crowded, but there are hundreds of paths throughout the park that are quiet and less-traveled. So... more

Another fine example of Gaudi's work, the park is free, refreshing and nice walk around. The park is not overcrowed and there is enough space for everybody to sit and unwind. more

Fantastic despite the crowds. Gaudi's buildings, spaces and structures are fascinating. The terrace overlooking the City, the hall of columns, the lizard fountains. If you like Portmerion, this is a million times better. There are surprises around every corner and you can always find a quiet corner. Yes it's a steep uphill walk to get there. Yes its crowded and... more

Very nice thing to do to get away from the inner city, but still there is crowded with tourists. You can easily kill a couple of hours there. You can get to Parc Güell ex with bus 24 from Placa Catanuyna. The bus trip is also a nice way to see the city. NB if you take this bus you... more
