gorgeous Cathedral, pay to enter (i think around 7 euros) - the icons are stunning, and I loved the clergy seating area, just stunning. The Cloiser was a lovely area to walk around, including the geese..You can also venture down into the crypt, but we did not. More

Gothic beauty with inner courtyard , home to some geese and colourful fish in a pond, bringing peace and quiet to your mind in the midst of the the heavy tourist traffic at the gate. Outer courtyards outlined with actors and musicians ,sellers and beggars , music and fun, young and old ,,,all participating in some way or other in the center... More

Certainly La Sagrada Familia is the most remarkable church in Barcelona, but the gothic cathedral and the surrounding area are also very beautiful. We visited on a sunny day which showed off the stained glass to great effect. Despite the throngs of tourists passing through the place it curiously still seemed to retain an air of calm. More

Known as La Seu, Barcelona's grand cathedral dates back to the 13th century & is well worth a visit just to see the geese among the palms & magnolias in the cloisters. The surrounding medieval buildings are of real beauty. In Placa Nova, by the cathedral, "buskers" seems the wrong word to describe the talented classical guitarists whose strains will... More

This gothic cathedral is amazing. Not far from the noise and bustle of La Rambla but once you enter the quiet and tranquility hits you. Although the roof terrace is under construction well worth visit for the view. Although the Sagrada Familia is a must see for the unusual architecture the queues stopped us from going inside. Cathedral Saint Eulalia... More

Barcelona Cathedral (Cathedral of the Holy Cross and Saint Eulalia) is at the Plaça de la Seu, in the Barri Gòtic district, not far from La Rambla. You can take the metro either yellow line L4 to Jaume I station or green line L3 to Liceu station and walk from there. Barcelona Cathedral is a Catalan Gothic architecture. The church... More

Very nice architecture, very good preserved interior. It was the only church were I saw electric candles that were turning off by inserting coins (the number of candles that were turning on were depending on the money inserted- more money= more candles). We only got to see the interior of the church. More
