Casa Battlo exceeded expectations. The eyes are seduced by wild shapes and colours and so much of the materials were specifically manufactured by artisans to Gaudi's specifications. The entire building can now be visited and while the rule is "no cameras" there was plenty of opportunity to take pictures particularly of the stunning roof shapes. I got some great shots... more

Casa Batllo is yet another example of Gaudi's talent. But we paid the $10 euro to visit the "museum" inside...only to find out that NO PICTURES ALLOWED anywhere indoors.Nevertheless, the internal staircase is quite spectacular. more

Casa Batllo is an amazing sight in the daytime and spectacular at night viewed from across the Passeig de Gracia. When I was there the main aparment was open for tourism for the first time in years. If is is still open is is worth the approximately 10 Euros for admission and self guided audio tour. No cameras allowed inside.... more

Casa Batllo was without a doubt the highlight of my visit to BCN - and that includes the awesome La Sagrada Familia. I doubt there is any other building on the planet that is quite so magical. Walking into the foyer puts a smile on your face and it just get better and better! more
