Very interesting and not expensive at all. Don't miss it,especialy if you have children. There's a lot of interactive experiments for them(and not only for them). "El bosc inundat"(the flooded forest) is amazing. You can see there a piece of amazonian rainforest from inside(walking on alleys between dense vegetation) and from outside(through glass). More

The Science Museum is good in itself, with some good interactive displays but the best thing about this place is the Amazon Rainforest display which has a huge area set up just like a mini Amazon, including huge trees which run down into the water. You can view the underwater level behind glass like a mini aquarium, complete with giant... More

One of the most wonderful museums in Barcelona! Adult ticket costs 3€, but we paid 1,7€, because we are students. The price is incredibly low, and you get to see tons of interesting things. But be prepared to take around 4 hours to see the whole thing (or more, if you take time to really study everything you see), because... More

A must for anybody with a bit more than a passing interest in exact sciences and biology - this will be a great day out. Interactive demonstrations of common scientific theories and also a simulated rainforest. Absolutely beautiful. Children will also enjoy it. More

Accessible by bus no. 22 from bus stops just north of the Placa Catalunya, the CosmoCaixa is otherwise one hell of a walk away from the city centre as I know, I walked back from there to Poblenou in just over an hour and a half ! But it's very well worth the visit to learn more about our planet,... More

Well worth a visit. Very interactive. I have studied science but still learnt plenty here. Kids and adults alike will love this. Give yourself plenty of time to get round. More

Went to this museum with our three teenage sons. It was the only time of the holiday that they were not bored. We all enjoyed it as there was so many exhibits to try out. The aquarium and rain forest also proved to be a hit. A family of 5 cost €12..where do you get that sort of value these... More

Cosmocaixa is "just" a Science Museum sponsored by a local (but huge) bank. Nevertheless, you find advertisements nowhere except in the name of the place, and entrance fees are very low. On the other hand, the parking garage is very convenient but expensive. Another problem is how crowded the place (around the box offices) can get every month's first Sunday... More

Cosmocaixa is a wonderful place to spend a day having fun while learning about science or technology. I go twice or three times a year because my children, my wife and I love this science museum. One of the strengths of this museum is that it offers not only objects or images of really cool stuff, but a definite view... More

I'd say this museum is a must to every visitor to Barcelona with one spare day. I'd like to mention the recreation of an Amazonic jungle. Also, every first Sunday of every month, the entrance is free. 100% recommended! More
