There's an amusementpark on the top and a church (Temple de Sagrat Cor) where you can go inside and take the elivator up to the roof for 2 Euro, from there you can see the whole Barcelona! We stayed in Barcelona for 5 days and went up Tibidabo twice. Making your way up to the top is half the fun - a tram ride (weekends only, bus weekdays) followed by a trip on the funicular. The tram/bus isn't necessary as it's not far to the funicular station (which is necessary!), however it is an up hill walk.... more

My mate who lives in Barcelona drove us up here last year. The whole mountain was cluttered with parked cars so we had to walk up hill for while. The view from the top is spectacular. Take the train out to Tibadabo, then the tram car up the hill, then the funicular. It's a long ride, but it's worth it once you get to the top. It's a long way to get to the top of Mont Tibidabo, but the view is spectacular. The basilica is beautiful. The amusementpark is nice for kids, not top of the bill attractions, but the merry go round and big wheel must be a nice distraction for them when probably doing all kinds of 'boring' stuff with their parents :-)... more

We had an interesting journey trying to find the trolley and the funicular to take us to the top of the mountain. Signs are pretty much non-existant. We walked to the top without ever seeing the trolley, but did manage to find the funicular train to take us to the mountain. A bit of a dissappointment, as there wasn't much... more
