This area is beautiful! I have a fear of heights, so just a warning to those that feel the same way. You have to go up a very steep mountain road on a bus. It is definitely worth it, but you will have to close your eyes. More

We had an excellent guide who took us up the winding trail to the Monastry which was beautiful. When the sun came out the view below was magnificant. Well worth the visit for a morning or a day if you want to walk. Local market is present where you can buy local cheese for producers and try before you buy. More

After some debate, we decided to add a day trip to the beautiful resort town of Sitges to our trip while in the Barcelona, Spain area. The sites, setting and people were all totally gorgeous. We enjoyed some of the freshest seafood of my life whist sipping cold beer overlooking the Med. A place I'll never forget! And a place... More

we took a bus tour there. Beautiful scenery which gets even prettier as you climb with a magnificent view of the valley below. When I finaly arrived, I was struck with amazement by the wondrous structure of the huge monestery carved out of the mountain. A beautful small city though a bit commercialised. Minstrals in the streets and peasant dancing... More

Montserrat was just breath taking, for me, it was wait the to see the Black Madonna. Because I had to wait to see Black Madonna, did not spend much time seeing the grounds of Monestary because I had to get back on the tour bus. The train ride up to the Monestarry was spectacular. A must see if you are... More

Montserrat was a long bus ride away but worth it. Once there you get on the train up the mountain to the town and monastery. Suggest you take the Funicular up the mountain and go for a quick hike but be back in time to go into the cathedral and gear the choir sing. Next stop was Sitges were we... More

Mountain location. We went on a Saturday so missed the boys choir. Tour of the catedral was terrific. More

The tour guide is great, and gives you information on how to spend your time wisely at each site. Montserrat is a two-day tour in itself, filled with so much history, culture and beauty. You pass by lots of vineyards on the drive from Montserrat to Sitges. The beach in Sitges is simply the best, and that is why the... More
