We went to Monastery of Montserrat by rentcar, took a cable railway. The way up to the monastery is great experince itself, but it was very interesting to see arround within monastery. There is also nice museum. In good weather I would also highly recommend to go further up and walk arround the upper station - great panoramic views. More

Wonderful place; fantastic view.... but choose your timing very carefully. I went on a national holiday.... and it took us 1 1/2 hours in traffic backup just to park! And once there?
