It is not the biggest nor the best Egyptian Museum in the world, I know, but if you are lucky and you can follow one of the guided tours, this is a good experience (and it's a very interesting place for kids) More

The museum itself is really small. There are two floors, plus a temporary exhibition in the basement. We paid €11 per person, and €8 for me with my student card. The museum doesn't have a bar, nor a cloakroom or even lockers! The mummies are nice, but it's not worth the money. More

The Egypt Museum of Barcelona is a friendly place, with a small and beautiful collection of Egyptian artifacts. The shop was also great with many opportunities to find good books. More
