The lift to the top holds 4 people. At the top you can not get past anyone so it is one circuit abnd then down. If there is a queue of people at the bottom it will take ages to get to the front. So check this before buying tickets, More

The Monument a Colom at the end of La Rambla overlooking the harbor is impressive with its ornate design. Columbus is pointing toward America. My wife and I didn't go up the elevator. The column looked too small for an elevator. This is one of the nicest monuments in Barcelona. More
