“Water fountain wasn't working”

We were disappointed to see the main water fountain wasn't working when we were there last week. Otherwise it was a nice place to have picnic. May might just be the month for maintenance to prepare for the peak season in summer, as we saw lots and lots of construction/renovation works going on everywhere and many of the main landmarks... more

It's a large & beautiful park - an oasis in the city. Wonderful place for a picnic if you're in the mood for a relaxing and inexpensive meal away from the crowds. Even the locals do this on weekends and holidays. You can also rent little row boats for 6 Euros for 30 mins. It's a very small lake, but... more

Thuis park is small but beautiful! full of suprises it has a magnifcent fountain and a bigger then life-size mammoth elephant sculpture! The park also holds the museu de zooligic and geographic but also the city zoo at the bootom end! more
