Large, beautiful, clean beaches ... there are plenty of restaurants and cafes to rest with a sea view. Great walking trails along the palm tree and the smell of the sea - beautiful. More

Siempre es agradable pasear junto al mar, y aunque esto no sea el Caribe, merece la pena respirar a pleno pulmón ese aire cargado de salitre. More

I have always been a fan of the beach, but coming from the Philippines where the beaches are minutes to hours away from the city seeing the beach in the city really fascinated me. I loved hanging out by the blue waters during spring while everyone basked in the sunshine. It would be a good idea to bring a snack... More

What a great surprise in the city. A great spot to catch some sun, lots of touristy restaurants around and some cool buildings in the back drop. Worth taking a walk along here when you're wandering on a sunny day. More

If you have the time please visit, It's a really nice place, it will give you the chance to enjoy the beach and the sun and see a totaly different side of Barcelona, although I don't think I would ever swim in those waters! There is a really cool fast food restaurant called Woki along the beach, which has the... More

La Barceloneta is right by the port and is one of the most beautiful beaches in Europe. If you in Barcelona for a short trip make sure you take a break from the city right here. The water is very clear and the sand is white and very fine. The beach access is free and there are a lot of... More

One of Barcelona’s main beach areas. It’s a nice neighborhood. The beaches seem nice, well served by transports and assistance services. There are beautiful sidewalks where you can stroll or ride a bike. It’s a very pleasant area. You will surely spend a nice afternoon if you decide to go there. More

I really like La Barceloneta and if you enjoy the beach and the beach vibe you'll probably like it too. Just don't expect a quaint sea side village -- it's a major city filled with everything major cities bring. We went to the PACKED beach here on a very hot Saturday and enjoyed being around so many different people --... More
