I remember being so impressed with Barcelona's Olympic stadium when I watched the 1992 Summer Olympic on TV, it was so full of life and excitement. But when I visited the stadium and the park outside last month, it seemed so sad and deserted, with just a handful of tourists drinking soda from a pathetic little snackstand, watching a greenskeeper... more

As much as I hate to say it, this was an overall disappointment. The views outside the stadium were remarkable, but there was construction being done on the stadium facade. Once inside, there were only two shops and a cafe open. We were hoping to get some Olympic souvenirs, but there were none to be found. All you can really... more
