Someone mentioned this to us, so we checked it out. The fountain lights up different colors and does different sorts of sprays with background music. If you have plenty of nights in Barcelona check it out, but there are way cooler things to do at night there. The place gets really crowded, so watch out for pick pockets.

This is a must see. From 9pm there is a light show with music with the dancing water fountains. A deffo WOW! Also a great view of the whole city from the top.

I missed this the first time I went to Barcelona, so glad I made the effort this time.
It's an amazing display, totally worth it. The music and lights were so pretty! It's on Thurs-Sun from 9pm. The shows are about 15mins and they run every half hour.
We wandered about seeing it from every angle and decided the best...

The multi-coloured magic fountains make an interesting evening tour, but it's pretty crowded, and do be wary of the dreaded Barcelona pickpockets.

A must visit event from 9pm but take your camera it was fantastic with the music and the lights.You can get a great view from the top of the Arenas shopping centre but you must also be down near it as it goes on for 2 hours.

The fountain makes a great display of colours, with music going through several genres and decades. A nice thing to see if you're around and have time, but not necessarily something to detour for. Given the location I expected the music show to be more classical than pop!
