We're not quite sure why a previous poster grumbled so much about their experience and made the claim about Rice-A-Roni, Our experience was great. We did the morning class with the trip to the market. You could probably pass on the market trip and do it on your own, but for us, it was a nice way to meet the... more

I did a cooking class in Provence and had alot of fun so when I read about Cook and Taste, I immediately signed up for it as part of my visit to Barcelona. Bruno, our chef/instructor, first took us for a walk around the Broqueria - the huge buzz ling market – with, shall we say, some rather interesting wares... more

My husband and I booked Cook and Taste based on the reviews on Tripadvisor. We had so much fun. We were in the new location which is clean, bright and modern, but located in the old Bari Gotic. Our group was a total of 12 people from England, Australia, Germany and the US. The chef (I have forgotten his name)... more

I spent the afternoon at Cook and Taste on a trip to Barcelona a few years ago. I had a wonderful time, and met some really fun people there as well. I've since taken the recipes I learned back then back and home and have had many tasty dinners with friends. The paella you will learn here is sure to... more

We had really looked forward to this class. What a disappointment it was! The chef who taught our class did not speak English very well, despite the fact that it appeared (at least from our class) that a substantial number of attendees are from English-speaking countries. The language barrier prevented him from sharing much more than very basic instructions. The... more

I read about "Cook and Taste" cooking classes on Tripadvisor when planning a trip to Barcelona this past August. The reviews were all excellent, so I made a reservation for our family of three and requested Teresa, the teacher everyone recommended in the reviews. It was the highlight of our three week Europe trip. The course is taught in English.... more

We were there on Day 3 of the new location - ground floor and brand-spanking new kitchen! Our teacher Theresa was terrific. We had the BEST time learning to make the Catalan dishes. In fact, this was my favorite meal of the week and one of my favorite experiences of the trip. The group of 11 was really fun to... more

The cooking class was very fun. We skipped the Market trip....but the cooking class itself was very fun. Our chef Bruno was knowledagable and entertaining. He had a passion for food that has taken him all over the world, he was an interesting guy to talk with and has tremendous life experience to draw from. Our group was very fun.... more

I attended a half day cooking class. Before the class, I also went on the tour to the Boqueria Market where we purchased the ingredients for the meal. Teresa was an excellent teacher from the first minute to the last minute. We had a hands-on cooking class including, gazpacho, omelette, paella, and crema catalonian. There was no stress involved. I... more

you get to learn to cook a few local dishes, from the 3rd floor kitchen with the full view of the bustling La Rambla. From the appetizers to the dessert, the course was well designed to cover the entire meal. Cooking the whole thing and enjoying it with the dozen people or so was an astonishing experience. Had a glass... more
