We were blown away by the architecture and history of this beautiful cathedral. We learned that Sundays are free if you'd like to save some money. more
Not only is the position within the town fantastic, but within will take you with drama through Euro history. Do spend time in the cloister - I needed to rest and reflect in the amazing "plaza" outside afterwards, enjoying the sun in the middle of winter. Be brave and march straight into the Museum of Art next door. Then enjoy... more

Most visitors slog up the steps, pose for a photo and clear off. I recommend you go inside and do a visit - there is one of those walkie-talkie guides thrown in so you can choose your route and the info as you wish. You won't regret seeing the beautiful detailed carvings in the cloister, which are now about 1000... more
