Neither of us are religious in any sense but we visited the Cathedral and found it stunning. We only paid 3 Euros each (presumably Seniors Rate) which included the audio commentary as well. TIP. It's 90 plus steps to reach and that's after a long uphill walk. You can avoid the steps by going around the side to the entrance... More

The Girona Cathedral is a wonderful visit when in the amazing Barri Vell - the Old Town - of Girona, a city of tiny streets and surprises around each corner. Built over many years, the Cathedral has a vast open interior almost unbroken by columns. Depending on what time of day you visit, the light will always be different. Towards... More

Beautiful cathedral. 5 euro entrance fee, but included in the price is an audio guide and access to the museum. The cathedral is very large and old (construction began in the 13th/14th century). You can turn on the lights at each chapel to get a better view of the statues and paintings. The museum attached has religious relics, one of... More

It dominates the skyline and is well worth seeing. But make sure you go around behind it into the gardens! More

This cathedral is the tallest in Europe (so my cousin told me but it was really high inside!!!) and it was lovely and peaceful, set at the top of gorgeous steps. Worth a visit :) More

This Cathedral is stunning. You cannot help but admire the place as you walk up the steps to the front. You will need to go via the visitor centre, and pay, to get inside. We were given the audio headset, in English, complimentary, as part of the entrance fee. It is well worth having the headset if you really want... More
