The National Archaeological Museum of Tarragona is located in Tarragona and is one of the best archaeological museums in Spain. Some of the Roman artefacts here are truly amazing. We went with our young children and were made very welcome... the lady who I think was curator put a video on about Tarragona during Emporer Hadrian's visit in English, just for us. We went Easter week one miserable day with children 7 and 11. To be honest it was just to stay dry but we ended up enjoying our time here. The hightlight is the view from the top over Tarragona, you get a good view of the amphitheatre and the town. Underneath there are some tunnels for the kids to explore.... More
