Gorgeous gorgeous significant cathedral with the huge incense burner (botafumero) blessing us all. Being on the side of the church, it comes right to you for photos, but also being in the center aisle, you see the glory of it also. More

We really enjoyed wandering in and around this majestic cathedral which has such an interesting history. By chance, a church service was in progress when we entered and this really added to the spiritual nature of our experience. Both the interior and exterior of the cathedral and beautiful. We looked at it from many angles including from the nearby park. More

For those making a pilgrimage, this is a place one should visit. Walking and meeting pilgrims along the way is quite an experience. Masses are held in the main and smaller chapels. Best to hear Mass at the latter since there is less distraction from the hordes of tourists who visit the main area of the cathedral. More
