If it's your first time in any palace- it's amazing. But if you saw others before, it is nice but not more. I found the explenation in the headphones very technical and boring.
Probably the highlight of our recent visit to Madrid. An incredible Palace very interesting and spectacular. So much to see, well laid out and a great insight into Spanish royalty. If you have time to visit one attraction this should be the one.
Enjoyed seeing how royalty lived years ago. The tour guide was very knowledgeable and answered every question asked. If you have a disability, you can be escorted via an elevator.
I visited the Royal Palace while in Madrid and toured the rooms that are open for viewing. This was possibly my favorite moment while in Madrid! I loved the palace and just when I thought I found my "favorite room" then the next one would take my breath away! This is must see while in Madrid! I was there when... More
We did the tour which was 11 euros each and paid 4 euros each for the audio which was expensive but definitely worth it as gave you commentary on each room. We spent an hour and a half there but could have definitely been there longer had we had time. I loved the palace it was so opulent I have... More
possibly the most impressive monument in madrid alongside plaza mayor , la cibeles and las ventas bullring. incredible edifice with incredibly beautiful surroundings. a fairly relaxed part of madrid which is rare to find so close to the city center.

There are different areas in it, including the royal pharmacy and the armor room which I enjoyed greatly. The garden in front of it is also an attraction on its own. There's plenty of room... More
The tour of the Royal Palace was very extensive with the ding room and green ceramic room being the highlights.
just smack in the center its really lovely. You really don't need to pay the 4 euro for the audio guide as its verbatim of the notes in every room. It really makes you see the opulence and waste of the Royals as people all over the countryside starve.
