Loved this small house/museum. The gardens of Seville inspired Sorolla when designing his gardens and they are just lovely, romantic and photo worthy (take photos of yourselves together here). The house is an intimate view of his work, as you move from room to room you can see his development and interests. As the original 'painter of light', his work... more

This has to one of the loveliest arts museums I've ever been to - it's so good in fact I've been twice! Set in Sorolla's own home, which was built to his own specifications, it is small and intimate. one of the most attractive small museums anywhere, this converted home (much less imposing than the Isabel Stuart Gardner in Boston) reveals Sorolla truly in the best light. Most of his best works are here. more
