We wanted to see Flamenco in Madrid..we were first referred to another place but after our hotel reception called and asked if there was a table for us "without" dinner..they said no.So our reception told us about this place which was 5 minutes away and just as good..professional dancers etc.So off we went! We were not dissapointed! We arrived by... more

My wife and I went there in May 2009. The show was fantastic- it was well over 2 hours long and I really felt that I got my entertainment value. The talent was terrific. There was no problem when we were there with overcrowding or not being able to see anything- it seemed like an intimate venue with all good... more

My husband had a delicious fish and I had a tender, perfectly seasoned veal filet. Our excellent table was approximately 15 feet from the elevated stage. The musicians, singers and dancers were lively, passionate, colorfully costumed, made eye contact and interacted with the audience. It was great fun, good food and fabulous Flamenco! more

We went to Cafe de Chinitas on a Thursday night, 3/26. Our hotel, Suites 33, was right around the corner - it was a 5-10 min walk. I told the concierge at our hotel, Manuel, that we didn't want to pay alot, so no dinner, but wanted to see good flamenco. I think this is part of the trick -... more

This place is a tourist trap. They won't speak English (or French for that matter) even though everyone there is a tourist. The waiters are also rude. The food is inedible. The flamenco is OK but the place is so big that it's really hard to enjoy it. It's also very showy. I found it more enjoyable to go to... more

We just attended the flamenco at cafe chinitas and could not be more disappointed. After reading the reviews we decided to book a reservation. We asked our hotel to book us a table right before the show started and she insisted we should go at 9pm, even though the show started at 10:15pm. We arrived slightly early and were the... more

I have been with my girlfriend in Cafe de Chinitas in order to see a flamenco show and to have dinner. Price per person was EUR 61,80 including the show and a 3 course menu (salad, meat and ice-cream), but not the beverages. The food was average. The main problem was that we realised very soon that we would not... more

We found the Cafe de Chinitas a bit pricey, but considering the meal and the magnificent entertainment, it was well worth it! Didn't realize that you can stay for more than one show! Each show has a set of different performers giving you a variation of how flamenco dancing differs. Again, it was a great time . . . good... more
