Antonio Lopez Aguedo was the architect who built the Puerta de Toledo. The Neoclassical arch was a triumphal arch in the honor of King Fernando VII. I don't think it's worth a visit just to see this (unless you love these gateways), but if you're close by (maybe on your way to Madrid Rio Park), it's nice to see it and take a few pictures there.
