It's something about this plaza that kept drawing us back. It was like our compass center. Bank of Spain, Cibeles Palace and the roads to everywhere.

A charming fountain with a goddes on a chariot pulled by two lions and the background is a government bldg. which is is cleverly designed and placed. too bad i wished it was wider and we could reach the fountain on foot but it was in a busy traffic circle.

There are par the best lenty of fountains in Madrid, but Las Cibeles is by far the best one.

I can't rate this place objectively. I was there after el clasico won by Real Madrid. Thousands of fans singing an chanting - wonderful experience.
