Once you locate this small and friendly club and make a reservation ,all you have to do is enjoy flamenco. it is a tourist oriented show but instead of the common kitch and irritating details here you get the real thing - nice people, minimalistic interior that does not distract you from the performance, fantastic dancers withe very personal and... We all loved the flamenco! the dancing, the music, the singing, the ambience. It was extraordinary. The dancers are exceptional--their footwork, their traditional poses, their grace, their energy, the passion expressed by their beautiful dancing--we were thrilled to be there. And the music and singing measured up to the beautiful dancing--in other words, a terrific evening. The dancers-- two women... More

We discovered this tiny "tablao" (30 customers max.) through Tripadvisor and enjoyed a very good show for half the price others pay in the more classy "tablaos". The show lasts for some 75' minutes and consists of two guitarrists, two "cantaores" and three "bailaores", all very good, singing, playing and dancing many kinds of flamenco; you will not be disappointed.... On my last evening in Madrid, I wanted to see a flamenco performance at a place not completely overrun by tourists. This place does not disappoint. The admission cost is 26 euros which includes one drink. The crowd on the night I was there appeared to be largely made up of local folks. The show ran about one and a... More

Spanish friends wanted us to experience the closest to true flamenco that one can find in Madrid - pointing out that flamenco is truly an art of the south. After many texts flying back and forth among their friends, they all reached the unanimous decision that Las Tablas should be our destination. An excellent choice! You must book ahead as... More

A great experience. The flamenco dancers, singers and guitar players are all experienced professionals who have pride in their art. Las Tablas was down the road from our hotel, but we only made plans to go on our last day. Thankfully the reception at our hotel managed to pull some strings and find us a table for the show. I... Visited at 10 pm on a Sunday night. Fascinating dancers with great vocals and guitar accompaniments. It's really a bar with some tapas. Place looks stark with minimal decorations but the dancers more than made up for it. I went with my husband and 2 teenager kids. Everyone was mesmerized. Bravo. More

Looks a bit dodgy on the outside, with the black heavy door kind of like the ones at a dubious specialized book shop, not that I would know of course.... really nice host, welcoming, even though we were early. Sat down had a couple of drinks before the spectacle. It's really just a bar, don't go there thinking its a... More

We thoroughly enjoyed the performance which was very intimate, stark and dramatic. The atmosphere was spoilt only by some fool sitting next to my wife who knocked a full glass of red wine onto the floor. The prices were very reasonable for the centre of a capital city. €19 for aforementioned bottle of wine, € for a beer or glass... More

I, My mother and aunty and cousin went to see the show and when I made the reservation via a site called atrapalo I had accidentaly made it for 3 people and not 4. They still allowed the extra person which i thourght was very nice of them. But when they seated us it was on a very uncomfortable long... More
