We stayed in Lo Pagan/ San Pedro del Pinatar. Beautiful family friendly sandy blue flag beaches miles and miles long. Tons of sunshine, very very nice food. The Mar Menor itself is a very beutiful place, but yes do your research before you book anything, there are a few places which are ghost towns when not in season More

Maybe the day was not ideal for a boat tour but there was little to see, some islands, nothing remarkable. The strong wind prevented me from staying outside and nothing captured my attention. More

Having come to Murcia to buy a property thank god I haven't parted with of my hard earned cash, there are so many places which are like a ghost town. Thousands upon thousands homes remain empty, with whole estates crumbling down due to the lack of inhabitants. We visited la manga and that to had properties in a state of... More

Water is full of jellyfish and not too clean looking. Lots of high rise hotels and resorts, noisy and not at all the kind of place that appeals to me. More

Sea temperature rises to 26 deg in summer, bathe, swim or just float on its very salty waters. I dont know if it really has the curative properties that locals claim, but your aches and pains do disappear! More

Returned last week from a short break in the Mar Menor region. Stayed with a friend in Sucina, who hired a car and took us out and about in the area, visiting different beaches on the coast each day. We enjoyed them all and had no problem finding a spot to relax, even at the weekend when it is busier... More

Over the last year I have stayed both on the Mar Menor Resort in a villa and La Torre Golf Resort in an apartment and have to say both resorts are first class but very different. They both have in common first class layout, golf courses, service and restaurants but the feel of the resorts is to me very different.... More
