The castillo is a great get away in bustling Alicante. There is a lift on the opposite side of the beachfront, which gives easy access to the castle for disabled and families with small children. Easy to find and close to the town of Alicante. We just walked from the hotel to this attraction. The staff were very helpful. We were offered to watch a film telling the history of the castle in English, the minute we walked into the room. The castle is on a hill, there is a lot of uphill walking involved.... More

This is a must-see when visiting Alicante. You can get to the castle through a tunnel and with a fast elevator. Also you can use 1 euro to look through a telescope and see the whole town and the sea. More
