Small, crowded, and also rather expensive for a family. Almost no information about the animals, other than a name and the repetitive "endangered by wicked humans... etc etc". Poorly signposted access for pedestrians and cyclists, but a huge car-park; hmm, so much for environmentalism. It is a zoo, though designed with more imagination than most, - so what is this... more

I've visited numerous zoos during my 49 years and Valencia Bioparc is at the top of the list. Why do I rate it so highly? Because of the design and layout - it is obvious a great deal of creative thinking went into the design to ensure animals and visitors are book well looked after. The way you walk inside... more

It wasn't initially on our itineray but it was well worth the entrance fee. The park was quiet so we could wander around without feeling any pressure to hurry and the animals appeared well looked after and cared for. Well worth the entrance fee. more
