We signed up for the Lladro tour well in advance and it was well worth the trip to Valencia to see it. They take you through the moulding process to painting and you get to watch the people make them. It is amazing to see the painstaking detail of painting the Lladros. Especially eyebrows, flowers, etc. It is a bit... More

The Llardo Factory Tour was the principle reason that we disbarked the cruise ship in Valencia a day early from its arrival in Barcelona. Having made reservations a few weeks prior to our arrival we took a taxi to the factory. What a beautiful building with over 600 pieces of Llardo displayed. We had a guided tour of the factory... My husband was a bit relunctant to go on this tour, but both of us absolutely loved it. Once we got off the subway, we just headed straight and then to the next intersecting street and headed down Carreta de Aboraya. It was easy to find although a map of ours made it look confusing. We had our own personal... More

I am not a fan of porcelain (high or otherwise) but after the very informative tour at the Lladró (pronounced 'yar-draw') factory, I have a greater appreciation for the work involved in this particular type of porcelain. I can understand why the pieces cost so much! Thoroughly enjoyed the whole tour and learned more than I thought I would. To... More

We are not fans but thought we should see it. We were not disappointed. Amazing Porcelain designs and factory tour. We then took a taxi to the LLadro house in another village costing 10 Euros. Then 3 Euros top get back to city by metro. If you are a real LLadro fan and interested in the 3 brothers then go... More

I visited the factory twice with people who were collectors of Lladro but even though I would personally not purchase anything, it was fascinating to see the process of making them. All very labour intensive and also many unusual pieces, not at all like the traditional pieces you normally expect to see. Fan or not, certainly worth a visit! You... More

I´m not a great fan of Lladró, but was curious to know more about their ceramics and why it is so popular (and so expensive). We booked a tour and since we were only 3 people, the guide dedicated a lot of her time to us, answering all our questions. The guide was very knowledgeable and professional, a real pleasure... More

we got the no16 bus from the town hall square it took around half an hour. Remember to book your tour. Took around and hour, very imformative and interesting how they are actually made. I'll say no more so as not to spoil the trip. More

Great tour in English demonstrating the entire process of making porcelain. The showroom comes next and if you don't buy anything there, they'll invite you to their Outlet Store.. a much better deal. More
