You know he is. Not only does the cathedral boast the skull and bones of St. Thomas and the Arm of a Hermit (both holy relics), it also has the Papal-authenticated holy grail, or cup of Christ. You don't have to believe me. See for yourself and also notice all the painting depictions of the Last Supper which has the... More

Not a common cathedral in the sense of a huge building sorrounded by a huge terrain. Almost hidden and within tiny streets and a charming plaza, building is very " spanish", stained glass windows are worth admired and perfecly kept More

Very well preserved. The guided tour is superb: although we loved the gothic foundations of the cathedral, we weren't as keen on the neoclassical touches added later on (this is purely a matter of taste!), but the explanations ensured that we enjoyed every bit of it and made the visit incredibly interesting. Whilst I am not particularly interested in visiting cathedrals the views from the top of the church tower should not be missed. It costs 2 euros per adult to go up. Not recommended though for those who are scared of heights or who would struggle with the climb to the top for health reasons. More
