On a wet Saturday in early December,2004,I visited and enjoyed the Museum of Fine arts in Valencia. I enjoyed their fine collection of 19th Century Spanish paintings,especially by Cecilio Pla,Joaquin Sorrolla,and Aurelio de Berreguete. I enjoyed their Netherlandish paintings by Jan Frans Bloemen,Cornelius Van Haarlem,and Jan Van Goyen. I appreciated their fine Spanish primitive retablos,especially by Jacomart,Reixach,and Nicolas Falco. I... more
