I always come here when i go to Valencia. A small town, only to be reached through one way, with lots of nice restaurants and small streets to stroll around in. Near the water different boats are headed to the Albufeira lake which takes about 45 min. but a splendid trip it is. Lots of waterlife and birds around you....

El Palmar is a small town that is filled with restaurants and is very popular with the people of Valencia, who go there to eat paella. There are many good restaurants and the main menu is the paella. They probably have the widest variety of paellas in Spain.

The area is flat, flat, flat. Just like the Camargue in many ways. The town is small and uninteresting except for the many little restaurants.
