Just a 10 minute bus ride from Amalfi is the villiage of Pogerola. It is a magical place with an ancient Roman fountain in the "picallo piazza" with cold, clean water which you can drink. In August 2009 we stayed in the hotel near Gerry's pub (10 mins walking) and occasionally went to eat there.
