I spent a month in Salerno last year in August and took a 2-weeks course in the Accademia Leonardo school. I'd never been in that part of Italy and found the region very beautiful and interesting, the city itself is also a nice place, especially becasue of its friendly people. The stuff of the scholl was also friendly and very... More

I recently moved to Italy and spoke very little Italian. After being in Italy for a month, I enrolled in a three week course at the Accademia Leonardo. It was a very good decision. The location and facilities are excellent and the staff is superb. The instructors are flexible, patient, and very capable. I made more progress in my class... More

As a student at CUNY Baruch, I was able to study abroad at Accademia Leonardo for the summer intersession. I spent four weeks studying Italian language and culture at Accademia Leonardo. The education I received was invaluable. I had always heard that the best way to learn a language is through complete immersion, which is the teaching style of Accademia... More

I spent 2 delightful weeks at Accademia Leonardo and I wish I could have stayed much much longer! I had thought about doing a course in Florence or Rome. But then I saw the website for Accademia Leonardo in Salerno and I decided that because I'd never been to this area of Italy and the course agenda and dates would... More

I was at the Accademia Leonardo for a month in March 2011, and took the intensive program. I'd been studying Italian on my own for awhile previously, and had also gone to a school in Rome for 2 weeks in 2010. But it was this school that gave me a big boost in my ability to speak and understand Italian.... More

I was at Accademia Leonardo for the 50+ course in October and enjoyed the experience so much that I signed up for another course in April 2012! The teachers were wonderful and so was my "personal guide" Donatello! The 4 hours spent at school every day helped me improve my Italian. I found the lessons very interesting. I had opted... More

I contacted Leonardo Academy when I was returning to Italy to try to visit my family's village where my grandfather was born. After countless web searches I discovered a bus that would take me to Petina but no schedule to return! The director of the school responded immediately to my request to find anyone who might be able to help... More

I went to Academia Leonardo at Salerno to study Italian five times. Because they are so friendly that I could enjoy to go the school everyday. And it is so easy to make new friends in this school, if you go to this school alone. I went to other language school so many times. That's why I know. In this school... More

I attended Accademio Leonardo when I was in Salerno for three weeks. The instructors are knowledgeable, enthusiastic and offer a wonderfuly friendly Italian experience. I always felt as if I was learning in a professional setting, but with a home-like atmosphere. I learned enough Italian to understand the language, use it in my travels and to understand Italians in daily... More
