Not the easiest place to find and only opens in the morning. However the curator is enthusiastic and knowledgeable and speaks good english. Contains examples of all types of local woodwork including an ornately carved bed. Sorrento was once famous for intricate woodwork and produced many souvenirs. There is so much beautiful wood work here it's just a shame I don't have the room to put anywhere at home. The dinner tables, games tables are just wonderful. You just have to visit this place. More

not well organized. just rooms of displays with some posters explaining history. we were there for about 45mins, and it was 8 euro's a piece...not sure if worth this expense. More

This little gem of a museum gives a good historical overview of the inlaid wood craft of the area and its prime practioners, along with exquisite representative samples of craft work through the centuries. More

We made a brief visit to this shop/workshop/museum. We were fortunate enough to get a demonstration from one of the family members who now run the store. The way the inlaids are made is fascinating. The intricate detail is hard to imagine until you see it being made. I wanted to buy a piece as a souvenir from sorrento but... More
