Having read the previous reviews I am starting to question if I visited the same bar, although I know I did. The drink here is very overpriced and on draught very poor. The owners have all major English/Irish brand labels on their pumps for lager, but on closer inspection the tubes all lead to one barrell. Need I say more?... more

Based on previous reviews we purposely searched out Chaplins to sample the friendly atmosphere Irish/Italian atmosphere we had read about. We were sorely disappointed. My daughter and I spent June in Sorrento, we loved Chaplin's pub. It is family owned and the staff is his beautiful wife and daughters. Great Irish music and singing. more

This is a family owned Irish Pub (owners are 100% Italian) however, they are the nicest people and so accomodating and fun!!!! My husband and I enjoyed our time in this pub. They show any sporting events and will cater to their clients requests. Definitely a small Pub but, great hang out! more

Chaplin's is an odd little pub that is Italian-Irish mix, complete with an Italian bartender who calls himself Seamus. And yet, somehow, it works. It's brilliant. We had a terrific night drinking Bulmers, and singing Christy Moore and Saw Doctor's songs. It was off-season, so we had the place to ourselves. It was a great time! More on our time... more
