Beautiful opera sung in old classical surroundings. Sadly there were two changes in the original cast as they were deemed "indisposed". This did not detract from the opera itself which were enjoyed very much.

We saw "La Boheme" and enjoyed every minute of it. Good performance and great atmosphere.

We visited on our last day, waited nearly two hours for the tour, only to find out it was in Italian. Guide couldn't/wouldn't tell us when the next English speaking tour would go, so we went round with the Italian speaking group.. not a lot of good!

I was disappointed that I had missed the ballet, but we had a tour around the beautiful old theatre anyway. It is well worth a visit.

This is such a beautiful theatre and the quality of productions is excellent. It is expensive, but really, really worth it. I had exercise a lot of self control before I could persuade my tummy...

Don't be put-off by the scruffiness of the area! This is an important performance venue -- many historical performances given here. The exterior has love statues. Situated in the Piazza del Plebiscito, it has a formidable presence among the other buildings.
