Naples is the place most like the third world I’ve ever encountered in a developed country. We weren’t fans of Naples – bustling, dirty and packed with gypsy beggers. This is actually where you want to be. After you see the Palazzo Reale wander off into Spaccanapoli to see how the real Neapolitans live. It's like a wonderful bazaar of people, restaurants and services. We spent most of our time wandering here. more
