We visited the "veiled Christ" July 08. After touring Venice, Florence, Rome, seeing multiple statues by famous sculptors--this single piece of art by a Neapolitian sculptor Giuseppe Sanmartino, was by far, more amazing-beautiful-and moving, as Michelangelo's Pieta. This is a "must-see" and I don't understand why it does not receive more attention. Also inside, the statue of Dispair....how were those... more

This museo is centrally located so it's not that hard to find. What makes it unique is the quality of the sculpture. The chapel is small and worth seeing, it is a task trying to find it, but the sculpture of the Veiled Christ is very well worth it. There's always a staff member in there willing to answer any questions, and share the history of the chapel and the Sangro family. more
