You can find Caravaggio's paintings in this small octagonal church. The paintings are very interesting and biblical. Other pictures displayed are of different places and alive.

There are many churches in Italy that contain world famous masterpieces and most of them don't charge you for the entrance. Friendly, welcoming staff. Most of you, like me will have come for the Caravaggio painting, but much of the other art here is worth your time too.
What else can I say. If you love the work of Caravaggio you will not be disappointed. The seven Works of Mercy is one of his best pieces. Somehow Caravaggio combined each act of the seven acts of Mercy into one large painting depicting everyday scenes from Naples. Amazing!
I saw this painting a few years back and it's remained with me as one of the most special experiences of viewing art. I was the only visitor to the chapel, left unattended and appreciated the full beauty of this wonderful painting alone.
Famous for the 7 acts of mercy by caravaggio on display but also has good artwork upstairs. Perhaps not the best value for money in Naples but a great collection of 16th century stuff.
