We entered the Treasury from the left side of St. Peter's Basilica. Admission was 6 € per person. This attraction received mediocre reviews in some guidebooks I consulted, but was surprisingly good. They had beautiful things, including the dalmatic of Constantine, lovely reliqueries, jeweled rings and crowns; and our favorite, a gold monstrance with Bernini’s baldacchino and angels in miniature.... more
