Echoing what others have said: Our two tours tours with Walks of Italy recently were the highlights of our recent visit to Rome. Pristine Sistine with Jon and the VIP Access Colosseum tour with Tyson could not have been better. I could swear both were moonlighting from their main jobs in art and archaeological history, but they weren’t. They’re professional... More

We enjoyed a wonderful semi-private tour of the Coliseum and parts of the Forum and can highly recommend our wonderful tour-guide Vincenzo. As a drama teacher and obviously well educated Italian, he has a wonderful ability to combine the present and the past whilst keeping a mixed group of tired tourists motivated (and out of the midday sun). Getting out... More

Truly Exceptional! I am telling all my family and friends about this tour provider. And if/when I go back to Italy... I'm totally booking Walks of Italy tours again. Stuart our guide for the Vatican - Pristine Sistine Chapel AM tour was wonderful! He showed us the Sistine Chapel first thing before the hordes of people and groups got there... More

A great tour with our guide Stewart. He is extremely knowledgeable and went out of his way to make the afternoon interesting and enjoyable. With just 12 in our party the tour included the VIP access to the colosseum underground and top tier. Well worth the time and money. More

Great tour - I recommend it highly. The headsets worked very well. The group was small(ish) - 11 people plus one excellent guide, Flaminia. She was not only very knowledgeable about the art - she is an art restorer! - but also added lots of insights and historical perspectives along the way. She was also very smart to have us... More

My husband and I went on the Colosseum tour with Vincenzo. This was certainly the best tour i have ever been on thanks mostly to our tour guide. He made the experience special, creating a picture of what life would have actually been like in ancient roman days. Visiting the underground and top level of the Colosseum is a must,... More

We took this tour recently. The guide was american and italian. Great tour. We walked around the Roman Forum and then the Colosseum. Our guide took us past the long, long, long queue at the Colosseum and took us down tunnels. I had kept it as a surprise to my family, so they were totally amazed when he led us... More

We did 3 tours with this company, (Colosseum, Vatican and Twilight Tour) and enjoyed them all. All of the guides (Vincenzo, Laura and Steve) are very knowledgable and have a real love of the city and the site you are visiting. The tour groups are small, so you get to interact with the guides and ask questions. Because the groups... More

I recently was in Rome on my honeymoon for only a day and a half before boarding a cruise ship. We wanted to see as much of Rome as possible before we left so we booked the twilight tour and the eternity in a day tour. Because we were going to see some overlap in the tours Lori in the... More

Our guide, Tyson, gave us a great experience. He was a wealth of knowledge (not just scripted tour guide stuff) and you can tell, he truly enjoyed his job. I knew we had a good tour when other people kept walking away from his/her group and ask our guide which company he was with--you could tell they wish they book... More
