Vittorio Emmanuel II Monument is nicknamed by locals as giant typewriter... The moment you'll see it, you understand why. It's white beast of a building surrounded by small brick orange buildings. Yet, it is impressive and overlook from the roof top terrace is great. More

The view from the top of the Monument is the best in Rome. You can see on one side the Colosseum, the Forum and other sites of ancient Rome and on the other side the Vatican and the domes of the many churches of Christian Rome. Truly spectacular. Best to take a good camera - but i took pictures with... More

It's large, it's flashy, it has lots of stairs. You'll see this sight, pose in front of it and then move on to the worthwhile locations on your trip. Don't waste your time on this one. More

There is no entrance fee, and you get a really good view from the balcony. However for €7 you can get the lift and go to the top of the building were the views... More

The view from the roof of this monument is spectacular. Definitely worth the climb and 7 euros for the lift. 360 panaromic view of Rome from one of its highest points. Great views of the Forum, Colosseum etc More
