Palazzo del Freddo is the place where we had the best ice cream (gelato) during our whole trip in Rome and, surprisingly enough, it also had the best prices for it as well. You will pay half the price you pay at any other place serving ice cream and the taste will be undoubtedly better than anything you can imagine....

The Palazzo del Freddo in Via Principe Eugenio 67, Rome, is a majestic building, in which the ground floor is simply a huge ice cream shop. I never saw so many different flavours before, and most important of all they have by far the lowest prices in Rome ( that I have seen ).
Worth a visit and great value...
