You've got to see it haven't you. And it doesn't disappoint. Throw your coin in the fountain and make a wish. It's atmospheric, with a number of surprisngly reasonable bars around the piazza. The only drawback is the number of people. This is not the biggest piazza - and all visitors to Rome want to see it.

take it easy here even though its full of tourists! its a cute little area surrounding the trevi fountain full of restaurants and shops. lots of people taking pictures in front of the trevi fountain together. wait for your chance and you'll get a perfect shot too! beautiful area!

I don't if it was the grandeur of the fountain, or the people surroundung it al anxious to throw in their coin (what do they do with all those coins?) or just the romance the piazzi has, in a way only Italy can provide. Just go and see for yourself.

Not only worth to throw a coin in, but to rest glancing crowds of turists shouting, taking pictures, eating strange things, drinking every sort of colour and being picked pocket

it's amazing how the city has just built in around this. it is literally on the end of a building. if you're not really watching where you're going, it just pops out. we were there in late february, late at night, and still crazy crowded. just push your way in.
