Walked from the Pantheon to the Colosseum. It was about a 30 minute trip by foot. Wonderful shops and gardens on the way. Didn't take a tour. Just enjoyed the outside. More

Interesting history and very large. It's worth taking a tour to get more information. They have the combined tours outside for the Colosseum and Roman Forum. More

The Colosseum was my favourite place in Rome, the information boards were very well appointed with so much information to absorb. Well done the organisers of the Colossuem for a very enjoyable visit, I just wish I could have stayed longer. More

There were so many tourists and lots of company representatives selling tickets so it was too crowded and overwhelming to go inside an enjoy. Get your tickets in advance or get a guide so you can learn vs. just viewing it. More special with historical perspective. More
