This was a great day out, starting with a tour of the Jewish Ghetto, a very interesting part of Rome. We then went to Campo dei Fiori and a few local shops to buy the ingredients for our meals. The tour I went on was run by Igor, with his assistant Monica. They were both very entertaining and skilled cooks,... More

We visited Rome with our grown up family, and, this was the highlight of our trip. We had no expectations and only booked really because daughter and her partner run a pub and wanted to learn about pasta making. It was informative and great fun. Fabio and his team were welcoming and very patient. When visiting Rome, this is a... More

One of the most enchanting experiences we have encountered on a vacation. My husband and I went on a short walking tour before taking part in this class. There were 10 of us in total and were all made to feel very welcome. As we entered the restaurant "that's amore" there were ten bowls all with flour and an egg... More

Monica met us at the Teatro Argentina, where she took us around the Jewish ghetto, telling us a lot of history and then feeding us with Pizza bianca from a brilliant bakery/deli and beef proscuitto from a nice jewish butcher. We chatted, discussed Rome and headed to the market place at Campo de fiori for fresh artichoke, cheeses and chicken.... More

My twin daughters (20) had one request for their graduation trip to Paris, Rome, and Florence -- they wanted to spend one day cooking in Rome. So began the search for the perfect experience. We found that in Fabio and his Fabiolous Cooking Day. We met early in the morning and then went on a walking tour of parts of... More

Me and a friend of mine signed up from the states to do the countryside experience with one of the chefs. We had an amazing time! We learned how to make authentic food which i've been making ever since I've gotten back! We took a 45 min ride outside the city and went to a small village which was built... More

We were quite lucky as Monica picked us upn at 8:30 and we were the only two people on this cooking in the country tour. We first visited Calcata, a medieval village 40 minutes outside of Rome inhabited by 50 people perched on top of a wonderful hill overlooking the valley. We then went to to Massimo Romana to buy... Hello Readers, I did the Fabiolous Cooking Day at Mazzano Romano (43km from Rome) on 28 Dec 2011 at a cost of EUR130 and I thought it was worth every euro cent! This is my 5th visit to Italy since 2007, and my 4th to Rome, so I was keen to do some different outings during this 11 day trip.... More

A day with Fabio and his cooking school should be the number one thing to do when in Rome. We had a tour of the Jewish quarter, did a little shopping for our menu, had a tour of Fabio's restaurant and spent the rest of the day cooking and eating. Please do not have breakfast before attending this class. We... More

We got to buy, then cook then eat the excellent food with a professional Chef Fabio in Rome!!! Although we first were surprised to find about 8 other people joining us, it turned out to be much more fun. We met terrific folks from all over the US and the world. Our teenager children were willing participants as well. Highly... More
