The most historic of all catacombs. Church contains tomb of St. Sebastian with a beautiful marble cover. It contains interesting relics including an important one from the Church of Quo Vadis. The San Sebastiano Catacombs are extremely interesting and worthwhile to visit. You can get there by public transportation (bus). They are right next to the San Calisto Catacombs, also worth a visit. We had an intimate guided tour of four people by Donato, whose English was crusty. The catacombs, which extended underneath the St. Sebastian Church, were historically interesting and amazing to consider their origins.
