I decided to do this tour with Dark Rome tours as I had done one with them the previous day which was excellent. The one advantage of seeing these wonderful attractions as part of a guided tour is that you miss most of the long queues and you get to see all the important features. This is very important when... Yes, it was the Rome Circus but it is much more than a Circus Massimus... It´s part of the Impire Splendor of Rome ! What a fantastic construction and a master piece of roman architecture ! To see the ruins with out an explanation or guide it´s lost time ! More

It is much better to arrange a tour of this area since it is complicated and not to be missed. Be sure to go insideThe Colosseum to see the interior, it is much more impressive. They have guided tours so could be arranged at the ticket office inside. It's a good thing to have a guided tour of The Roman... More

Loved this place! it feels like walking around a film set, and never quite sinks in that you're walking through a piece of ancient history.. take lots of pictures! It's a huge open area so wear a hat and cover up at the hottest times as shade is hard to find! More

Great attractions! Highly recommend. We bought a combination ticket at Palatine Hill. At the same time we also purchased the audio headset which I would not recommend since it is difficult to follow. If you purchase your ticket at Palatine Hill the line is much shorter than at the Colosseum. More

Roberto was our guide. Like a Russian Ace Ventura. Very funny guy and had a rapport with the group of roughly 20 people with in minutes. He knew his information inside out. Presented it well and answered any questions with ease. Added bonus is skipping the main line which wasn't huge. Regardless worth it just for the extra information and... More

We were able to go on a day when these sights were free! But i am led to believe that when you buy an entry into the Colosseum, it covers the attractions of The Forum and Palatine Hill which are not literally attached but just a few beats across the way. I must say its hard to discern when you... More

We booked a walking tour of the Roman Forum and Colosseum with Through Eternity. Our guide was excellent and spoke very good English. The tour group comprised about a dozen people. The tour started in the Roman Forum and took in many of the features, which gave us a good flavour. We then went on to the Colosseum, which was... More

Very much looked forward to visiting these places and was a little disappointed. Roma Pass was useful for skipping the ques, and we avoided the touts (guide, ear phones - but with 40 others!!) and opted for audio guide (which was fantastic in Pompeii) - very disappointed. Unlike Pompeii there were no highlighted spots on site, only on map to... More

My husband and I thoroughly enjoyed our visit to the Colosseum and the Forum. There is such an incredible history here and so well preserved! We highly recommend taking a tour to cut down line ups and also so that you get much more information. Through eternity is a great option. Make time to visit this site in your trip... More
