Great tour!
Loved the mix of local food places, history, and being taught how to figure out if Gelatto was real or powered.
Used the list of recommended restaurants for the rest of our trip.

I don't know what else I can say that hasn't been said about this tour but I do want to cast my vote too. I went to Rome in April and we did this tour with Domenico as our guide. We greatly enjoyed the information, the history, the food, and the explanations about the food. It was a well laid...

Recommend for those with interest into the insight of italian delicacies. Samplings of food at different locations. Adequate amount of food by the end of the tour for an average persons appetite. Food available for purchase at some locations. Off the beaten path. A good amount of walking. Ken was fantastic. Can tell what real gelato looks and tastes like.

My wife and I took this tour on 26 April 2012. It was a highlight of our trip to Italy as it gave us a look at an largely untouristed area with many attractions. We had expected just a food tour, but it was about much more than just food.
We started with a tour of the old Testaccio market,...

My husband and I were in Rome this past week and we pre-booked the "A Real Taste of Rome Tour" from Eating Italy Food Tours before we left home. The payment process was quick and easy, and we received good instructions on where to go (and how to get there) to begin the tour.
Unfortunately, it was pouring rain the...

We visited Rome in May 2012. We decided to go on a food tour since food is our number one love. The Eating Italy Food Tour was great. Our tour guide Luna was lovely and made the morning tour so enjoyable. We loved the food and had a little bit of this and a little bit of that all over...

This trip was my third visit to Rome, but I never got the opportunity to check out the Testaccio neighborhood. This food tour gave me a great opportunity to experience not only the culinary delights of Roman/Italian food, but also the rich history of this area. Kenny was so knowledgeable, engaging, and funny throughout the walk. I've been on other...

Everything is fantastic. Tour guid (Luna) was friendly, enthusiastic, knowledgeable (as far as I know), and maintained a pace that allowed us to be active and enjoy the food. Testaccio market, tiramasu, mozarella di buffala, tomatoes, rigatoni carbonara, prosciutto (sp?), giolitti. All good things. Highlight of my trip. Wife couldn't make this one (work), but the group was very friendly.
